The Power of Mentoring Unveiled

A profitable company is often the result of successful business relationships. The third annual Moving Your Business Forward conference, sponsored by Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine and the Governor’s Entrepreneur and Small Business Office (GESBO) is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 3, 2005 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. Life in Atlanta will soon change with the opening of the much-anticipated Atlantic Station. It offers all the amenities of a fully functioning metropolitan city: movie theater, shopping venues, entertainment, a one-acre park, corporate businesses, etc. Atlanta’s newest phenomenon revives 17th Street and surrounding avenues creating many revenue opportunities for enterprising African Americans.

Former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver, Terance Mathis, has joined the ranks of athletes-turned-businessmen. Mathis, owner of Victory Motorsports, LLC, is taking it upon himself change the mindset of both African Americans and the racing community.
