The George A. Lottier Golf Foundation (GALGF) was created to preserve the memory of George Lottier and his love for the game.  Its mission is to provide support and training for future golfers and to assist qualified minority journalism students in enriching their education. To date the event has provided over $200,000 in internships and scholarships.

The golf seminar starts at 10 am on June 5, 2017 with a continental breakfast and will focus on the benefits of playing golf and why women should get in the game.
