The purpose of George
A. Lottier Golf Foundation (GALGF) was created to preserve the memory of George Lottier and
his love for the game. Its mission is to provide support and training for future golfers and to assist qualified
minority journalism students in enriching their education. Last year the event provided over $12,000 in internships and scholarships.
The event starts at 9:00 a.m.
on June 2nd with range practice and a continental breakfast. There will be prizes and contests on every hole; a
silent auction, golf vacations, box lunches, team awards sponsored by Tiffany and a 19th hole reception where our
scholarship winners will be introduced.
