Atlanta Tribune Inducted “Innovative Leaders” into its Hall of Fame

Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine, joined by a renowned host committee including Atlanta City Council president Ceasar Mitchell, Fulton County Commission board chairman John Eaves, Mercedes Benz of Buckhead owner Juanita Baranco and emcee Silas “Si-Man” Alexander, inducted a cadre of “Innovative Leaders” into its Hall of Fame (HOF), Thursday, December 10, 2015, at the 755 Club at Turner Field.

“Our HOF inductees were individuals and groups alike who are took unique steps to leave a lasting imprint in their spheres of influence,” said Ms. Pat Lottier, publisher, Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine of the honorees. “We are proud to share their stories with the Atlanta community, and to insert their narratives into the city’s history.”

Atlanta Tribune inducted Wendy Williams, general manager, WCLK FM 91.9, and up and coming innovators Talaya Parker, Southeast diversity director & business development executive, ADP; and Tobias Tillmon, interim state director, AARP Georgia.

The Tribune also proudly announced a noteworthy first with this year’s Corporate Diversity Award, which was bestowed upon “The Trifecta” of Corporate Diversity and development leadership as presenter Baranco termed it:

A moving tribute was paid to Rosemary Jones, a longtime champion of supplier diversity representing IBM and Turner Broadcasting Systems for more than 45 years before she transitioned.
